A social tennis tournament will be held at Kilworth Tennis Club on 26th September 2009 – (starting time to be confirmed)

This will be in the form of a Round Robin (Doubles) in which everyone who has entered will play either with or against everyone else.  Teams will be drawn out of a hat immediately before play starts.

The fee will be €5 per person to cover the cost of balls and refreshments.

If you wish to participate please sign the form in the clubhouse before 18th Sept 2009

In order to facilitate completion of the tournament within one day numbers are restricted to 24 players (12 teams)

The closing date for entries to the first tournament of the year is on the horizon. Thursday 30th April is the deadline for members to sign up for the Team Singles Competition.  The Team Singles Competition for the last number of years has been the tournament to ring in the new tennis season. 

The Committee meets this Thursday night to finalise the North Cork Teams. If you are interested in playing the North Cork Competition but have not yet put your name on the board please contact Catherine Kenneally, Club Secretary immediately.

Our new doubles tournament is due to start up again shortly so all those interested should sign up their names on the notice board.

The finals of
this competition will take place on Friday the 20^th June. The final
will be contested by the winners of the semi finals which took place on Tuesday
and Wednesday.
